I have done tons of tutorials on here and I have realized that rarely ever talk about the actual highlighter that I use on all of my eye looks. While there are a couple from MAC that I love, Crystal Avalanche is by far my favorite for fair to medium skin tones. It is the perfect shade of creamy white with just the right amount of shimmer. Here is mine:
See how it is gorgeous? Yea…that’s how much I love it. It.is.the.best. Now, it is a pretty light highlighter and it may be too light for those of you so I say go to the store and swatch it so you can see it against your skin and then you can go from there (I will post some of my other favorite highlighters that are darker soon!).

Today I’m going to talk about the famous highlighter, Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm Cosmetics many beauty bloggers raved about this one and I’m bit late to the party but considering the point this is not easily available in Indonesia, I want to talk about how it looks on Indonesian skin and where you can actually buy this. Some people might feel highlighter is not so necessary step in doing makeup, but In my view highlighter can take any look to the whole new range. There are many highlighters available in the market, ranging from powder to cream and liquid and also in various shade depending on the skin tone.
Mary-Lou Manizer is a beautiful goldeny Champagne powder highlighter, It comes in a sturdy compact packaging with a mirror inside and the most important point is the powder is really smooth and silky not at all chunky and just blends like a dream and gives that healthy glow to the skin also glitter just stays on place it doesn’t migrate around the face which has been an issue with some other highlighters. This highlighter is highly pigmented and you definitely have to be careful while using this, you don’t need much of the product to highlight decently. The wear time of this highlighter is really good, it lasts whole day on my face. I feel this is a universally flattering shade, It looks wonderful on all most all the skin tones and as you don’t need much product this is going to last really long. It looks wonderful on Indonesian skin but make sure you use less product on cheeks otherwise you end up looking like disco ball. I don’t recommend this for really dark skin tones, it might look way too shiny but it looks absolutely wonderful on fair to medium and medium to dark skin tones. This is one of the best highlighters I have tried so far, So if you can get your hands on this, I totally recommend it.
